Is it harmful or fun, has anyone tried it what happened. I am doing research for a paper working title "Life online in the 21st centry"

Can't be compared to the real thing obviously, but it is a safe way to have fun and enjoy it as the next best thing.
People can be safe in their own environments and are in full control of the "cyber experience".
I can understand people's thought from both perspectives, some say it's great and some say it's sad. But isn't it just as sad to be completely drunk out of your head and cop-off with someone and have drunken sex which you can remember very well. But by some people that is considered cool.

mostly fine.
not fine when the real crazy people i have read about get into it and use it as a means of sharing pedophilia.
aside from those nuts it seems to me that sex is much better for anyone to watch then violence
yip i have done it and it was fine never pay for it and web-cam sure helps i don't wish to be doing that with a man pretending to be a woman or a fat ugly woman .

everyone will have their own opinion on this. i hate football but understand that millions of other people find it very entertaining. it can be fun if its your thing, but if its not you will (if you are of a closed mind) find it sad and not understand how people get gratification from it.
its certainly safer than meeting people off the internet though.
