Can someone pls tell how to update my driver for the video card??? I am really tired of not being able to view everything on web pages. The type of monitor I have is a Samsung SyncMaster 997DR. I tried updating it a few months ago but nothing changed so Im guessing I did something wrong? Help me!

If you want to update your video drivers, you can do that under Control Panel/System/Hardware(tab)/Device Manager(Button).
Double-click the device you wish to update the drivers for, then select Drivers tab. There is an option for driver updates there.
Another problem may be that you do not have appropriate software loaded to view certain things on the web. Like ActiveX, java, or Macromedia Flash. If you have these installed, try checking to see if there are any updates.

Ok , first you have 2 things here to view , first the monitor , if your monitor does not have the capability to view resolutions from 1024x768 then yes you may have problems . Now to update your video card , open control panel , open system and select the hardware tab , then select device manager , then open the display adapter , then write down the make and model. Then right click on the desktop and select properties and select the last tab , in the advance bottom you should see the MEM of the video card , if it says 128mb or less then yes you need to buy a new one. Now with the info you wrote about the make and model of your video card just go to the manufacturer site and go into support . if you cant find it there then go to www.driverguide.com
