Straight cryptic or variety cryptic? "With Ring" usually means to stick an "o" in as part of the wordplay.
FORTISSIMO is 10 letters with a Ring and could mean "get excited", but I don't get the wordplay. "Excited" might suggest anagramming. Do you have any crossings?
