i am gay.. and i was born and live in a country where gays are not tolerated at all... they are beaten and sometimes even brutally killed.. no one knows i am gay.. not a single person...i can't keep living like this any more.. it's too hard.. i am tired of acting and not being who i am not.. constant depressions.. and the worst thing is that people don't understand what it means to be gay.. that it is not my choice.. i don't choose to get attracted to men.. it's not like straight people choose whom to feel attracted to, is it? i can come out of the closet only if i move to the states or canada.. i know life won't be heaven over there also, but at least i would be free. i just love my family and friends and even country.. i can't imagine moving to the united states, then sending a letter to my family explaining everything.. they will never wanna see me again and i will never be able to visit my country again.. what should i do? how can i know which way of living will make me happier?

I would advise moving away because, like you said, at least you would be free. Till you get the cash to do so however, I am giving you a link to a website that offers links to organizations all over the world that help to counteract the hate and murders of gay and lesbian people worldwide. Many of thse organization exist despite the huge risk to themselves and their families.

Are You Really Gay or Just think U are because of certain clothing? I use to think myself to be gay because of wearing woman's
clothing but I have no desire to get it on with man! Well this Life is Hell.. so get as much fun out of it as possible! Be open if you're parents can't tolerate U for however U be then U have BAD Parents! U good pretend to have a Role for Mrs. Doubtfire or some similiar program maybe such as: Jack Tripper Goes Gay!
( Jack Tripper was the guy that pretended to be gay in order to live with a 2 young women...
3's Company)! See how U parents behave towards U then that way U should get an idea how they would behave if U really come out!
My Mom thought me to be gay when she saw me wearing woman's clothing.. Later she was relieved to find that I'm not sexually interested in males!

THAT'S A DEEP QUESTION,
I think you should stop and think of the conclusion on you decision, Yet only you know what you feel and desire, But I will tell you this "SOCIETY" does not accept being gay, yet your not only person who thinks what your thinking there Famous actors, and musicians and many people who have wonder if coming out would make it easier to be open about your sex life for example even in society expects man to woman, yet look in nature, animals will do male to male, women women Yet then there's the place where you resides what type of partner example prison. Then there are people enjoy both but I all come Down to the Main Question if you know you are Gay. so coming out of the closet maybe freedom yet it could putting yourself in PRISON of SOCIETY'S like's and dislike's

You poor, poor thing. That is one of the saddest things I think I've ever heard.
Well, while being gay isn't something that is necessarily condoned here in the US, people aren't persecuted either-at least, I don't think they are. You know, if you're worried about people finding out, and you're worried about your own safety, think about what will happen to your family if people find out about you! If you love them, and it sounds like you do, I would say leave. Even if it's the hardest thing you ever do, leave. For your safety and the safety of your family. Maybe they can come over later, you know? And they are your family; they love you too. Don't automatically assume they will hate you, ok?

i am so sorry that is a very sad situation. you realize that you are sacrificing your mental health for people who don't love you for who really you are. i know it would be very hard to leave and lose your family and friends. but in the states or Canada you would be able to make new friends and have people that you could be close to like family. i hope that what ever you choose that things get better for you.

Honestly, my family is more important to me then anything. I wouldnt come out if you are going to be risking your life. . . Come visit the states, or Canada and see how you like it. If you do come live over here for a while. . . I hope all works out for you!

You worry about being beaten or killed, but do you realize that you are slowly dying inside? Mental health is just as important as physical health.
