"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). I am only one of millions of humans who know in this way that they will live for ever.

One of the guys in the band Queen did a song about living for ever just before he died. The Theological answer would be, yes, but not in this form. The secular answer would be no. In some religions where reincarnation is the idea, things don't improve, they just change. The biological answer is, cells die when they get too old or become damaged. There's an opera with a guy who swaps his soul with the devil for eternal youth and the love of a woman, not very nice, I think no, becasue for years people have seeked the "Fountain of Youth" or something that will prelong life and noone has found anything.

We can only live / exist as long as the atoms that make up all our cells. All atoms decay at different speeds, urainium for example decays very quickly and turns into lead. Seen as most of our bodies are made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen (in the form of water) our radioactive half life is around 139 million years until the hydrogen turns to helium and we float off.

I think the biggest problem would be would we want to live that long. Imagine how bored you'd get.

Yes, you can. Taking your self, some essential part of yourself that defines who you are, like a thoeory about life (philosophy), or how the world works (physics), or how things come to be (chemistry and biology). Then through this knowledge being handed down from generation to generation a part of you can live forever.

In a recent book by Joel Garreau called "Radical Evolution," he interviews a lot of scientists who are working in radical fields, including longevity. The scientists he spoke with - all highly regarded leaders in the field - all assume they will live to be 150. And they are talking about a high quality of life.

Whether or not the breakthrough to indefinite life will happen in their lives, they're not sure. But that it WILL happen, that human life will be able to be extended virtually indefinitely - they all pretty much assume that.

But note - this is not something that will be universal. It will be expensive, and so only some people will benefit.

it is not possible for humans to live forever because we are alive.anything which is alive has to go through this step, no matter how many chemicals you will be advised to use, when the time come you will have to live space for new generation.dont scare is something normal.

Seemingly not, - due to the fact that everytime our cells reproduce, tiny errors creep into the coding. Thus it is the number of times that a cell replicates itself that causes the limit. Cloning is the only way around this (new material) but you could not superimpose one person's life on another's as yet unlived. Fortunately we are another good example of Nature's efficiency in recycling!

In our present physical state there is no way that we can live forever. Even down to the basic level of biochemistry it would appear that we have a finite life span controlled by our very environment. Take oxygen for example, without it you die, but it's also extremely corrosive (ever seen rusty iron?) and over the decades it wears on your cells until they eventually lose the ability to reproduce themselves, and then we die.

Yes, If you believe. You have to move your focus from this reality to the higher aspects of yourself. I guess you could say you have to do pretty much what Jesus did, which we can do, and it is what we are meant to do. At one point in time all souls will indeed do this, it is evolution.
If you want to research you could read, Plato, Jung, the Flower of Life books, or The Masters of the Far East book series.
