I go to all these object download sites, and i download the objects i want, but it wont go into my sims 2. WHY?????

Make sure that you have custom content enabled for your game and that all downlads go in the My Dcuments > EA > Downloads

I just figured this out the other day while playing the Sims 2. When you go to the SIMS 2 website and visit the download aren, you see different items that can be downloaded. Some only have the SIMS 2 symbol next to it, some have all the SIMS 2 symbols next to it, such as SIMS 2 Pets, University, Nightlife, Glamour, Family Fun. You can only download those objects if you have all the expansion packs that are listed. I have no expansion packs, so I was only able to download a select few items. Once it is download and icon should appear on your desktop and you can double click it. Then it should automatically install and be ready next time you load the SIMS 2. Hope this help and have fun!

they are always free or at least they are supposed to be the biggest and one of my first stops is mod the sims 2 followed by parsimonious and noukiesims 2
