try to recharge the batteries before they get to empty, if u dont over time they start to lose maximum capacity ^_^

where ever you go if you get a raw power connection you the raw power and start using the Hibernate mode in the laptop.

Shut down the laptop if not used for more than hour and charge the battery when it show the 25% remaning it give you more life to you battery. Do not use the laptop frequently on battery mode Do not too much of the cdrom drive when the labtop is running on the battery it consumes more battery power.

read the users manual and see if they want u to run the battery all the way down to 0% or charge it more regularly. some batteries do well if fully discharged and then charged up to 100%.
