I cut my hand on a broken glass just over a week ago.
I had a really deep cut on the inside of my left index finger, right on the knuckle in the middle.
The cut was glued back together by a nurse, but down the inside of my finger I can't feel a thing past where the cut is. The other (outside) side of my finger is fine.
The cut itself seems to be healing fine, still a bit sore, but I'm unable to grip things properly and applying and stress to the finger hurts like fire.
Has anyone had a similar injury that's gotten better? The nurse didn't say anything about a severed nerve or tendon, but I've no idea how long I should be waiting for it to heal before worrying...

If you have nerve damage it will take a long time to heal, like 6 months to a year or more. The nerve will heal itself, but it takes forever. If you didn't see a Dr., maybe you should?

The only person that can say whether or not there is any never damage is your doctor. It is possible that there is some damage but it usually will not have any lasting effects especially since there are such small punctures. But again if it does not return to normal after a few days or you see any sign of infection see your doctor.
