itunes will definitely slow down your computer. note: it's a much bigger application to run than winamp is.
also if you play a song to open it that will be considerably slower than just opening the app and then choosing a song.

the superb component to do is freshen up the difficultcontinual for left over information, and the registry for any ineffective entries which may be inflicting you pc to run slower. i for my area use CCleaner and clever Disk cleanser for that, the two one in each and every of them are unfastened. additionally seem for any viruses and malware/undercover agent ware, for that i take advantage of SpyBot seek & wreck, that's unfastened additionally. And yet another solid thought is to look on the classes you have loaded on the area of your clock...those are there using your RAM and you in all probability do no longer want them open each and every of the time. i'm attaching links to acquire all this utility, it extremely is in many situations greater effective to have distinctive utility to look after distinctive issues than to have basically one unfastened trial that takes fairly some factors and does not do a competent activity. solid success!

I agree you need more memory and try not running too many applications at a time because these can eat up memory. Also if you have used up your hard drive space this can also effect the performance of your computer and applications, itunes needs a certain amount of memory from the Hard drive to run efficiently

first it depends of what kind of computer you got, i also believe you need more memory
one other thing is the size of your itunes library, it you got a lot of music, videos and all that things in there, then maybe that's the reason wwhy it takes too much time to load
hope this is somehow useful to you
