Any one who has worked in a supermarket in grocery dept. knows you have to put up so many cases per shift. Now I have a 4 hour shift in which I have to put up 220 cases. Any advice on how to pump up my speed.

Spot out your pieces on the floor in front of where they go. Then put up your pieces. This saves time of walking back and forth to the truck. Also if you can leave all your trash/ empty cases on the floor and pick them up when your done. Try to do your smaller pieces (cans, baby food) first then large bags and boxes last.

Do as much as you can. Don't be bullied into getting stressed out. The job probably doesn't pay enough anyway. Attempt to do the the job and put LESS emphasis on the little extras that you probably do, eg rubbish disposal, fixing things etc. Various 'bitty things' take more time up than you think and usually no-one appreciates this..

My ex used to do this and said that the key is what the other guy said, loading up in massive quantity and making sure its stacked properly to avoid falling. this means smaller stuff in back and heavier up front to keep the small stuff from falling

I hope this helps
