None really, at least conceptually.

The term impedance is used where not only resistive, but also energy storage components such as inductors and capacitors are present in the circuit. The impedunce can only be measured by using alternating current (AC) the direct current (DC) can only be used to measure the resistive portion of impedunce.


Term bio-impedance refers to measurement of impedance of a living tissue. Please see references attached.
