That really depends on what sort of dino you want to make. A brontosuarus would easier than most as all you would need would be a sausage shape for a tale, another for the neck and stout feet

Actually, you should use Sculpy clay. It stays soft until you bake it in the oven. You don't need to put it back in sealed containers because it stays soft and plyable. It is pretty inexpensive too and much easier to work with. It can be painted or you can buy any color under the rainbow. One rule of thumb when molding anything is to roll the clay into a ball and cut it perfectly in half to make parts where there are two of them, such as arms legs feet hands eyes ears, etc. Get a picture of a dinosaur and use it as a guide. Good luck and have fun. Sculpy can be found at craft stores and even walmart.

Just be creative. Nobody acctualy knows how dinosaurus looked like.
