more then 1 = too many...

Big bad GW JR has violated so many laws since taking office and noone has had the guts to call for impeachment. But if he got a BJ from a fellow slut worker he would have been brought up on chargers. Kinda like we invaded Iraq because we THOUGHT they had weapons of mass destruction... while we did not invade Iran or N. Korea because we KNEW they had 'em.

Impeach a Pres, for an extramarital affair, but do not punish a Pres for ordering the death of Innocent Americans in an illegle war. Makes perfect sense to me..

Approx. 3000 American deaths. And bringing up 9/11, a crime perpetrated by Osama bin Laden is no excuse for Iraq; there is no comparison between the two, why can't people see that? However, simply leaving Iraq could result in implosion. We have no choice but to remain until the country can stabilize, then we can focus on our actual attackers, hopefully.

What you are trying to do is of no consequence to anyone but you.

How many Americans have died in cars these past 5 years?
How many Americans have died in house fires in 5 years?
How many Americans have died in plane crashes in 5 years?
How many Americans have died of old age in the past 5 years?
How many Americans have died traveling in the past 5 years?
Those deaths don't matter? Or can't they be used to make some morbid point?
Every death matters no matter the cause.
This arguement is wearing so thin.......they died in Iraq - what of the service members, contractors or new media employees that die in the US every year?

None. There is no such thing as George Bush's war. If you mean the war in Iraq, then yes, over three thousand.

YOU ARE RIGHT, there were more people killed during the war than 9/11, but it is military deaths instead of civilian deaths. Not saying there are not the same, but the military ARE paid to risk their lives for the country, and the people in the WTC were not.

Not very many considering we are at war. The death toll in Iraq is less than the deaths on our own land caused by illegal immigrants in the same period of time. There are only slightly more deaths from the war than there was on 9/11 from the terrorist attacks. The civilians who die in Iraq had a choice as to whether or not they went and the greed got the best of them.

3064 American military casualites (http://antiwar.com/casualties/ )

161 American civilian casualites (from counting Americans on list at http://icasualties.org/oif/Civ.aspx )

Total = 3225 ... It's gone past the total for 9/11 casualties (3030 - http://vikingphoenix.com/news/stn/2003/911casualties.htm ) !!

Here's a quote I like: "Mr. President, ... on your watch, we've lost almost all of our allies, the surplus, four airlines, two trade centers, a piece of the Pentagon and the City of New Orleans. Maybe you're just not lucky. I'm not saying you don't love this country. I'm just wondering how much worse it could be if you were on the other side." -- Bill Maher

I'm not sure which is worse - terrorists or our trigger happy president and his republican yes - boys in congress.

Here's another website you might like, the cost of the war in USD (currently at 361 BILLION): (http://costofwar.com/index-world-hunger.html )

With Bush wanting to send more Troops over there, we may as well say: This is turning into another "Pointless, misunderstood, Vietnam-WAR!!!!" He went after the wrong people in the first place, cuz he wanted to make Daddy proud, to finish his war, and to get his Daddy's man: Saddam Hussein!!! When in all reality, we're still in very much danger, because the real Murderer went "FREE", and we all know the man... uh, I think his name is "Osama Ben Laden" , and the reason being, Bush & Cheney, have too much invested with the man!!! You never even hear his name on the news anymore, as if he never even existed!!! How sad, is that!!! I'm surprised those families who lost family members related to the "Twin Towers" aren't demanding answers, from the "Prez!!!" And aren't on the White House porch, protesting that they go get that Mangy Man, "Osama Ben Laden!!!" The real Murderer!!!! Wake up America!!!! This has become another frickin' Vietnam!!! And Saddam is DEAD!!! And the reason we are still over there is WHY????????? I dont get it, I dont understand why so many people just sit back and do nothing about the man they voted for, and demand real answer's as to why he let the "Real Murderer" Go FREE!!!! This sort of thing makes me want to get my whole family out of this country, because if we get another "FOOL" in the White House, I'll be doing some serious "Research" on other countries to live in!!!! Because whoever, is elected next, has their work cut out for them, thats one job, I'm surprised anyone would even want!!! Its all too sad, to even continue this answer!!! Smile!!!!

The way I read it, just slightly over 3,000, roughly equivelent to the number of people who perished in traffic accidents in Florida in 2006.
