Darlington where? I know there is a Darlington in SC that basically has a race track and thats it lol I wouldn't reccomend moving there if you didn't have to. But I am not sure of where you are asking about :)

I used to go to college there. Was ok. The night's out aren't too bad either. There are a lot of nice villages on the outskirts that maybe worth looking into aswell. And of course it's home to the Mighty Quakers. 25,000 seater stadium. Nuff said : )

It's been voted quite highly as a place to live, can't remember the name of the survey. It scored highly for things to do and having nice countryside surrounding. You could move to one of the villages around and commute in if you want peace and quiet. Scene of the world's first inter-town railway journey, and birthplace of Vic Reeves.

Its ok,plenty of pubs but watch out for the small coffee shops most of them are owned by gangsters, too much crime there for me I used to live in Darlo then moved to the outskirts ,not a bad shopping centre.People tend to keep themselves to themselves and dont expect to be met with open arms.

Hmmm I'm not sure. I've only ever been to the train station there.

I live in Billingham. Not a nice place to live.
