I just got a new system:
E6600
ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard (with firmware 401)
Corsair Dominator 2GB 800Mhz DDR2

What's the best way to start overclocking? I haven't done it with any of the new chips and I don't want to fry anything.

My case is cooled with 3 120mm fans (side, back & front) and I have a Cooler Master Hyper TX on the E6600 for some extra cooling (used Artic Blue as paste).

So where do I start? I can't seem to set the FSB or unlink the FSB from the PCI, etc.... even in MANUAL mode.

Any specific timings, voltages, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated.

they run reviews on all hardware but also have in depth overclocking anaylsis for all types of boards and chips. You're gonna need to find a stable voltage and bus speed for the ram and processor so search the archives for something that matches your setup. They should also have info on the bios you're running as well as links to firmware updates

Send me an email and I can help you out, or instant message me if I am online. Its a little too much stuff to write out here, but email or instant message me if you want.
