Hi! Has anyone ever used Retin-A (tretinoin) cream? Well I've been using it for a week now and my skin is extremely flakey. It's not irritable or anything but still, it's kind of embarassing. Any ideas of an effective, fast-working moisturiser (brand)? TKS Loads!! :)

I found this to be really reliable to getting rid of acne: http://www.theknowguide.com/acnefree.html

the retin-a cream is drying out your skin try only using it at night and then put an oil free moisturizer on you face in the morning, just a moisturizer for normal to combination skin, dont get anything that has to do with acne or oily skin because those will continue to dry you out.

ASk your chemist or dermatologist to recommend an oil free moisturiser, preferably one that is water based. Biotherm , Neutrogena and Aveda carry those but you need to get the green signal on using them from whoever prescribed you retin-A

retin-A generally always hurts me since I have very sensitive skin. i get very red and peel horrendously. When I was on that product and on Accuntane I turned to Aveda and their tourmaline charged hydrating creme. very hydrating. i also liked one from clinique superdefense triple action for very dry skin. has spf 25 in it.
