Using the server for surfing the web or for that matter, most programs that you would use for a desktop is not the best idea.
The idea of a server is to serve the other computers in the house.
Usually you have a network and the network will start with 192.168.xxx.xxx
the local web would then be the ip of the computer.
you could also try http://computer and/or the network name.
http://home.local
http://server1
you might also have SharePoint and/or Exchange installed that will most like be https://home.local:444

Note: the URL will only work if you did name your network home.local

Just installed it last week and have read allot of the help files but there is alot of cool stuff with SBS 2003.
Now if I can get my provider to open up port 80, I'll be in good shape.

How different is Windows 2003 to Windows SBS 2003?
