Three major contributions were:
1, Latin language which is the basis for modern Spanish, French, Italian and some English words. Today we use the Roman alphabet with the addition of J, U, and W.
2, Romans built paved roads across the entire empire. The also built aqueducts out of concrete, which we still use today.
3, Roman advances in architecture which are still influencing buildings even today.

- transport (All roads lead to Rome)
- Communication (Speak Latin and you can travel almost anywhere)
- Health (healing Gladiators and Bathing germs in Roman Baths)
- Legal System (Roman Senate)
