Selene or Selena? Good first names, or better as middle names?

They are cool names. I like them both. I say go with what you love and what you will want to call this person (for that is what they are, little people who grow into adults who will have to apply for a job some day) for the rest of your life.

As a small child my son hated the name, Foster Joseph A., we called him Joey for a nick name at birth because though I felt that Foster would make a great name for a strong young man, it was a little mature for a baby.

Now at the age of 17, he loves his name. And sounds like the strong and viral young man that I knew that he would be when he tells people his name, and he acts that way as well.

I think Selena is a wonderful first name or Selene for a middle name.

Selene sounds like a shampoo to me and Selena would be a better first name depending on the last name.

I would say better middle names..Selene reminds me of salene, like the chemical..but I think Selena would be a cute first name. Good luck and congratulations!
