large room heaters?

i have a large room heater, gas, built into the wall in my apartment.....it is my only source of heat through the entire place, i've been living here for about 2 years and i haven't cleaned it, it is necessary to have them cleaned, the brand is perfection-schwank, and it says nothing about annual cleaning but don't most heat sorces need cleaning??? please help

it may not need to be cleaned, but to make sure, ask your landlord, or call a heating company. usually the wall heaters have no filters to change so there is no maintenance required
