Romeo must have been a Scorpio, we tend to do things like that and I don't know why. I'm guessing that the passion between the leo and scorpio was too much so instead of sufficating, he just stabbed himself to escape it.

Juliets' birthday was July 31st, so she was a Leo. Not sure about Romeo.
