There are so many prejudices out there I have to wonder will people over look Barack's color and see a great leader or will they be so oppossed to having a woman leader regardless of how well she ran the white house when her husband was in office, just vote for him just because he is a man and give him a hard time the who way through?

They should run together. I think that is their best shot.

I personally for a long time thought that Oprah should run for president, I know that she is political and takes a stand in many situations that are overlooked by many. Also I would hope that this country is over the color issue(although I know its got a long way to go) and can look past the fact that we have never had a African -American president or a female president. Its time to move on and put those petty issues aside and come together as a nation to choose who is the best candidate for the job no matter what their color or gender. we as a country have larger issues at stake and it is dumb of us to ignore them by focusing on the things that do not matter. Turning a blind eye to the real issues is much easier! That's what Americans are accustom to . I really like your Question , it addresses something that is very real, all we can do is wait to see! It doesent seem like there is a choice in the matter for some reason we are stuck in our mean old ways!

I think there will be barriers they'll have to face. But you also have to keep in mind minorities and woman will vote for one of them soley based on their sex or race. Which I don't feel is right either. People should vote on issues not race. I feel it is time for minority candidate, it would be a refreshing change and it is 2007. I have to learn more about Obama. He's charismatic but he does lack experience, I'll have to listen to him more. Hillary I don't really care for. I feel she used the people of New York as a stepping stone and has had some shady business deals.

What do you base your opinion that Obama is a great leader on? A popular book? Or has he done something I missed?
And, do you remember Travelgate or the illegal removal of files from Vince Foster's office? A fine way to "run the White House".

Neither.

1. Obama has little practical experience. If he was a second-term
Senator, then this wouldn't be an issue. Certainly, he has a certain amount of natural charm & charisma, but that's it at the moment.
2. Clinton has the "Clinton" name to live down. She's too tied to the sleazyness of that legacy.

I cannot believe how many people out there are posting that Obama is a Muslim and a terrorist before getting the fact straight !

I'd vote for him over Hillary any day !

I will be moving to Canada if either one of them wins. Not because he is black or because of her relationship with Bill, but because they are both frighteningly cold, morally bankrupt, self-serving and secretive. If she didn't have something to do with Vince Foster's death (among others) I'd be amazed. And did you know that he attended a radical Islamic school while he was growing up in Indonesia? Most people don't. Mainly because he is being very very quiet about his past. Then there is their politics. Did you know they support a bill that allows babies who are born after botched abortions to be neglected until they die? I'm all for a black president or a woman president (I wish Condi would run!).....but based on who they are....no way in hell!

I haven't decided yet. I guess I'll have to look at the issues more. As I type this, I'm watching Sen. Clinton's webchats; so I can get a better idea of her views.

When the general election arrives in November, I'll vote for whichever one gets the Democratic nomination.

People either hate Hillary or like her. She has 50% chance in Democrat party, and some won't vote for her.

I look past Obama's half-white color.

I oppose Obama and Hillary because they are Stalinist pigs, not because of their race or gender.
