Deleting the file WILL NOT rid of this. You need to edit the Registery. Use a program like Spybot. Then hit scan. When its completed no doubt you will see it on there. Then change the + to a negitive or -. That will drop down the location of the culprets Registery location. Click on that registery locator. Go into there and DELETE that registery # as indicated. That will rid of it forever.
Be sure to back up the registery which is automatic for Windows ME, NT, 2000 and so on. Just in case there developes a problem. Go to Start, Accesories, System, and view System Restore.

Assuming that it is malware, even if you delete it, it may no longer remedy the priority. each and every from time to time malicious courses which pose as videos may set up a video codec which may be only the first step to getting re-contaminated with more desirable viruses. once you're particular it is malicious, an antivirus and/or secret agent ware software must be used to eliminate it. If it put in itself on your equipment, you could continually manually eliminate it through replacing the registry and deleting all linked files, yet it is barely for experienced individuals, so in case you do not recognize what the registry is, please do not do this.
