I'm a conservative, and I know that Democrats care about a great many things (environment, health care, immigration, peace) but unfortunately they lack detailed understanding of how to fix these problems. They act like it's possible to wave a wand and make them go away. At least their heart is in the right place....

Dems had some decent ideas in their "100 hour" blitz in the House. I liked about 2/3 of the legislation they passed. Surprised me, being the republican that I yam.

As a moderate Democrat, I USED to feel that the Republican party was more fiscally conservative on some issues - but that all went out the window when Shrub took office and trashed the budget and the economy.
