It is one thing to question a persons point of view but to pry into some ones private life is going over the line. A politician should know what a sleazy mess politics can be; however bring a persons family life into the arena is going too far and often backfires.
I was tired of hearing of the Clinton - Monica affair; but I was really appalled and angry to see the Starr Report on the front page of the newspaper. How many people had to answer their kids sex questions after reading that "news"? All the sh.. that they see fit to print. Why would anyone want to go through the crap that any person in public life now has to endure?
Please don't mention Paris.

The question was interesting to many people due to the fact that his daughter is a lesbian. No sympathy from this side. I think he was the one responsible for having the statue tit in the Capitol building covered up. Sounds like you didn't know the les. part

she is not only unmarried but gay, and the question he asked was post a read statement about comments made about the vp's daughter. he was asking a question about the comment and asked of the vp wanted to comment on it. No wolf blitzer should not apologize, it was fair game considering she wrote a book about there family.

He is a reporter isn't he? The last time i checked, reporters ask questions. You're acting like he called he some bigotted name something. Get over it and yourself. You'll sleep better at night, i promise.

He asked a question of someone who has placed herself in the public eye (hey, she wrote a book!). If she was just some private person who chilled in private life, maybe an apology would be due.

Well it was on every newscast worldwide that Cheney's daughter was pregnant, so why wouldn't he ask her. Is it because she is not married that is troubling you or fact that she is a lesbian and he asked her upsetting you. I do not understand why he would even consider apologizing?

He's a news person, that's what he does for a living. He gets paid to ask people newsworthy questions.

If ya do the crime ya gotta do the time. She put herself in that position. If she didn't want to discuss it, then she should not have done an interview.
