Yahoo is Giving u a service for sending the sms for free of cost.. and where as i think it provides the best service... just sign in to your yahoo messenger and then you'll find a option for sending sms to any mobile...even the mobile user can reply and you can chat from your pc to mobile...now isn't it really cool...

I think the best way to send is using yahoo messenger. It works perfectly and the user can reply back which comes delivered to your messenger. Try using the latest messenger. Indiatimes and rediff also sells some SMS packs

first uregister into rediifmail.com n then u'll get home page. In that home page click on REDIFFBOL.
U enter redif id n password.
add ur desired mobile no.to which u want to send msg india code is +91
Start messaging

You can download the rediff bol messenger, create an ID, add your friends mobile phone(INDIAN) numbers and can send sms.
