WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
It's about the giving, not receiving. Besides, read the Bible and You figure the God thing out. Ignorance is NOT bliss.

It doesn't depend on whether you believe in God or not that you got nothing for Christmas- it depends on mostly the fact that Jesus was born on Christmas Day. Christmas is more than getting presents and gifts, Christmas is also a time of giving, and moreover, it's a time to remember Jesus. I can't say for sure what will happen if you don't believe in God, but millions and millions of people (including me) do.

The human brain is hard-wired to believe in something. Without a background of belief, the mind could not make decisions. Belief in God seems to be of great help to a great many people.

I think your difficulty arises from a confusion of God with Santa Claus.

Maybe because there's no other option, seeing all the evidence. Don't worry about Christmas, it has nothing to do with God. It's just an old pagan party with a disguise, to make people belive it has a Christian meaning.

And what does God have to do with your selfish wantings for Christmas? Christmas is about giving, not receiving. Don't blame God for the selfish people in your life - but then again - maybe you got what you gave?

He's always there, even if you don't believe. He will always love you and be there for you, no matter what. I'm not sure about you, but I'd rather have a friend like him than anything in this world. Plus, me being alive today is thanks to God, that should be proof enough that he exists.

So that you can know your creator personally and He will provide you with peace and joy that this world can't offer. As a bonus, when you die you will get to spend an eternity with Him in paradise (heaven). He wants to give all this to you if you will just believe in Him. Thats so simple. Why not believe?
