very much so when you also put that with power corupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely you end up with what we have today , money running our governments and sick ideologys , were heading for dark days if people dont wake up.
update: to the guy below in some cases people have obtained power and not been rich that was not the question , she is asking do you think money is power and this is the case more money you have the more power you obtain.

The answer is that government only cares about power and money. They want it all at the expense of this country. Dont be brainwashed by our politicians. Dont you know that it is both the Dems and Repubs that are working together to ruin this country? They are sucking the life out of us by giving this country away to corruption and immorality.
