I have been receiving a small number of prank calls, about 1 a week at least from a harasser.I do not want him calling me whatsoever and I have not antagonized him.

My boss,(who is a complete scatterbrains) has sent me an e-mail detailing that if anyone (meaning him)calls she will give him my home number and home address. I have tried to explain this to her and she will not listen.

I know this is wrong, but what exactly should I do?

Mention to your employer that if she gives out confidential information, you will have to take legal action.

You can have your employer charged criminally with "aiding and abetting", as well as various civil rights violations

It is illegal for an employer to give any information about you to someone outside the office. The prank caller could be a stalker and your boss could be putting you in real danger.

this is against the law your employer can not give out personal info on you to any one family included so you can speak with her first call the labor board in your area and get your facts straight than tell your boss if this person gets your private info you will take legal action against them .now you need to tell this prankster when he/she calls next that you are going to get the calls traced and press harassment charges against them you can work with your phone company or the local police to investigate who this person is it is against the law to verbally threaten or harass people don't take this lightly either i am sure you don't want all this unwanted attention good luck and be safe

the means for some human beings to play with technologies so as to distort the realities of others is actual very sick and demented. in case you pay interest, it fairly is not the government that helps this habit. it fairly is the instigator themself that enjoys enjoying the God interest and maintains the obsession of such. inquire from me and individuals purely could get a existence and supply up being so damn nosey or passionate approximately administration.

Let him give it out and then be able to prove it.
I believe it is against the law.
