If you are running Windows 95 or later, you don't need a CD-ROM driver.

i don't think that u need a driver for the CD-ROM drive.. if u run on Windows XP especially,it won't ask u for driver.. maybe it doesn't detect the CD-ROM drive.. try to check in BIOS whether it's detected or not.. if not, try to configure it properly..

If you are using win98 or me then you require the cdrom drivers if not you dont require . If you are running the xp and 200 professional then you dont require the drivers they get installed the drivers by default but still if you require you can down load the drivers from the below site.

If it is just a normal CDROM and you are running XP, you don't need extra driver. Already included in XP
