Give some recruitment agencies in Cornwall a ring. They will be able to tell you what sort of salary you can expect for any number of different jobs. Make sure the agencies you call are relevant to the type of work you are looking for though.

Salaries in Cornwall are below the rest of the south . My friend works for Tesco in Penzance and her hourly wage is much less than the wages Tesco pays in Essex. It is a scandal really considering you all work the same hours.

Im 21, a single mum (which obviously doesnt matter but anyhow...) and i am on a wage here in cornwall of £4.45ph, which is pretty bad considering i have to pay rent and bills with that.. but its nat. min. wage, same as everywhere else... i can only complain about poor public transport down here *sigh*

South west salaries are quite low compared to the rest of the UK.

I'm 24 (have a degree) and work in sales get paid about £18.500 about £8.00 an hour, don't think thaat is too bad??
