shame your statement was not true.
How many people who come to the uk respect our views and cultures!!!
So what you are sort of saying is that if people from overseas do not respect our views we can deport them?

Yes, I agree Neil - imagine we (as in the UK) would have been slaughtered if we had begun refusing visas to muslims after the bombings wouldn't we.
Double standard - oh yes!

Lets look at things more in perspective. If we look at any countries in the world, including US and UK, if an individual or group of people that has caused or might cause any political in differences, conflicts, disturbance of peace or threat to national security then they can be refused entry to that country. I am sure in the UK there are a number of areas where there are larger population of Asians she could visit and understand the culture. However, it is not Jade that is doing the talking, it is her PR people that is building up the campaign and thereafter sharing the revenue. They probably negotiated a larger fee say 50% of her wealth and now battering through the Media and Press. If all fails, then they will say not only she is branded racialist but she is thick as well.

I thought Indians were Hindu not Muslims. Secondly Jade would have the opposite effect of Gandhi and would turn everyone into thick, racist bullies if she gets there. Thirdly why are people giving her so much mileage by still talking about her; maybe there is some truth in that she is still popular and can make a comeback.

The fault lies not with the Indian High Commission but with us stupid Brits who caused such a stink in the first place. Jade is to be pitied, not blamed. How many of us would be any different if we had had the same upbringing in life as Jade. And then to be locked up in that BB house with some of those twits - come on everyone, she has apologised and eaten humble pie, what more do you want? Give the girl a break. Shilpa is definitely going to win, so what more does India want? Let's start trying to be a bit tolerant to some of our own rather than only foreigners all the time. We are becoming a pathetic race with no self respect or pride in ourselves.

I dont think that they turned down her application because of her silly remakrs. Probably because of her own safety! People in India are furious about her and as you very well know, most of our Indians friends are highly imotional people who show their anger by actions. Indian High Commission, probably, did not want to cause another furora as a result of what might happened to her in India. Its a diplomatic culculated measure.

I totally agree!
Somebody said something to me today which made me think.
They said "If a group of Asians beat up a white person its classed as an attack but if a group of white people beat up an Asian its classed as a racist attack"
Why is it never the other way round why are they never called racist?
I'm not a racist person it does not bother me, but i do think the term racist is only ever labelled onto white people & i dont think this is fair!
