Since this is TRAVEL...

1) Philippines (semi-retired to the country-side... love the climate, the slow life, my wife, and my kids... and the little farm)
2) Switzerland (there in the 70's & 80's... clean, organized, and just plain beautiful... I also spoke German)
3) Singapore (1996 - Switzerland in a different climate!)
4) Germany (70's & 80's... Switzerland with additional history, and my kind of food... I also spoke German)
5) England (80's... the history and museums... and they speak English
6) Australia (1997... just a nice place)

I am answering your country in the sense of where would I want to LIVE if I didnt live in America. I would say a small Island country like Bermuda or the Cayman Islands. They have virtually no crime, no poverty, everyone seems happy, and it is very clean and modern and the weather is great. As far as larger countires I would go with one of the European countires, maybe Switzerland or Austria. They just always struck me as great countires to live in.
