I don't think putting a hood over your head makes you brave. I think that makes you a coward. If you are standing for something that you believe in, or if you are fighting for your voice to be heard, then stand proud and tall. Even if it may cost you your life -- but don't hide who you are.
If you want to be cruel or mean or voice your thoughts then do it at least with a little dignity on your part -- Using a hood over your face does not classify as dignity.

Why do you want to be mean and cruel? Would you like someone to be mean and cruel to you? Brave has nothing to do with this. Wearing a hood over your head means you are a coward.

By the very act of putting on that white hood, one is proclaiming oneself a coward.
Anyone who needs to hide behind a hood in order to get up the nerve to say something is a base coward. If it is a bunch of people banded together wearing the white hoods in order to spew hate, that means they are even more cowardly because they do not have the balls to do it alone.

I don't think mean and cruel is limited by a wardrobe of only white hoods.
Do you?
I have noticed that bigotry comes in all skin colors and has a variety of clothing options.

If the group is big enough and has political power, they do not need the hoods. That is the difference between a cult and a religion (size matters).
