First of all, you should let your OB know about your plans to travel and ask about any precautions. I have been to Cancun several times. Within the hotel district is a purified water system, so the water is safe to drink, but not in downtown Cancun. However, I would probably advise to drink bottled water just in case. The sun is very hot there, so make sure to keep your body well hydrated and don't allow your body to get too warm. You have to be careful of your body core temp getting too warm when pregnant. If you are going just for the weekend, you should be fine. The relaxation will probably be good for you. Enjoy the beautiful beaches.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Lots of bottled water, same in the US actually. Take your prenatals with you, even if you haven't seen an OB yet, you can buy them at your local drug store over the counter. Drink a glass of Orange Juice a day also for Folic Acid. You can still do all the sports you did before, however listen to your body. Don't overdo. No Smoking, No Alcohol, dont' even be around second hand smoke. Also, being on a beach in Cancun, use sunscreen on your belly. Rays can penetrate. Or so I've been told. I have heard the water in the hotels are fine to drink, however I would just stock the fridge with bottled water. Have fun!

None you can still play tennis, go in the ocean, do whatever. Only in late pregnancy do they say you should not travel and that is ONLY because if you go into labor on the plane that would not be good and if something goes wrong you wouldn't be close to your doctors. 1 in 3 pregnancies misscairage in the first 3 months though so you are not out of the woods yet. However most of the people who misscairage never even knew they were pregnant and just get a period at a weird time. Go have fun you can only do it now anyways

when i went to cancun i found it pretty safe and didn't get sick. the hotel's water was fine and when we weren't in the hotel i was sure to drink only bottled water. just be sure that cap is brand new when you twist it off.

also, i would clear the trip with your OB...i know it's still early in your pregnancy, but there could be something in your medical history that we don't know about that would mean cancun is a bad idea.

Do not drink water, except for bottled. Also, do not put ice made from unsterilized water in your drinks. Keep yourself cool and wear a lot of sunscreen. Just to make sure, try and eat at the "American" Restaurants while in Mexico, to thwart food poisoning. Have fun!

It's defently not time to sun bath. Stay out of the sun as much as possible. The sun raises can be harmful. Also drink lots of water. The heat can make you dehidrate very fast. Good luck and have fun!

Drink plenty of bottled water and stay at your resort. I wouldn't get off the beaten path or atleast not eat or drink anything outside of your hotel. You don''t want to get sick and end up getting second hand care.
I would also talk to your OB before traveling outside the US.
