It doesn't really mean anything in english (the Japanese love thier acronyms). CB is the Honda designation for an inline 4 cylidner engine. (ex. the Honda nighthawk is an inline four...Its model name is CB750) The "R" means the engine is built to sport bike or race specs. The next is the engine size(600, 929, 1000...)
On the CBR 600F bikes, the "F" means the body type. "F' means it is a sport or race replica. The next number is the generation (F2, F3, F4...etc) The "i" is because it is fuel injected.
Hope this helps

I agree that the Triumph Datona 675 is the ideal motorbike in that classification, yet you will not hit upon a used one, a minimum of not for a stable cost. The CBR600F4i and CBR600RR are the ideal street motorcycles out of the gang. they are going to be the main delicate and that they have very nuetral dealing with. The Yamaha is the ideal race motorbike, and the Suzuki is someplace interior the middle. The Yamaha and Suzuki would be somewhat quicker than the CBR, however the extra effective rider will win maximum drag races besides. i might get the Honda using fact I in particular trip on the roads, and Hondas are everyday for reliability and high quality.

CBR are only random letters chosen by Honda to identify models like road or trail ,design, year, and type, the first Honda's were c models for street which then became CB then later to CBX and now CBR the off road were XL ,XR ,SL, CL.TL and so on.
