Subject: Barack Obama

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.

When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold up. This is not my opinion, its a question about the valididity of this E-mail. All I know is that radical Islam teaches all must convert or be killed. So my fear is only that we could possibly elect a phsycho. A wolf in sheeps clothing.

I don't like Barack Obama. I don't dislike Barack Obama. After PERSONAL, reasonable study, I will choose the candidate I see most fit for the job. And that is what you should do. Be REASONABLE....that means, think. Use your head. Get hard-facts. And try and read through the "smear campaign." I recommend you watch the program in my references so that you understand how people try to persuade you. Around the middle and the end of the program, they talk about how candidates manipulate personal files on people to fragmentize the population and send in politically charged messages in order to change your mind and for them to win elections.

Don't fall for it, please. And if you didn't even ask for the e-mail, you're being spammed. So that's TWO negatives against them. Who should you trust now?

It is somewhat correct. Obama did attend a Muslim school in Indonesia when he was a boy (possibly that taught Wahabism, but it was a school...that's where he could go. And saying that those schools are the same "radical teaching" that is followed by terrorists is saying that the Catholic church is the "same teaching" that commanded that christians in the middle ages invade the Holy Land and slaughter thousands of non-Christians during the Crusades. Perhaps true, but is that relevant?), but also attended Catholic school. Obama has downplayed his Muslim heritage, but I don't know that it's true that he ever "was" a Muslim. He simply had a Muslim stepfather.
I don't think there's any evidence that his stepfather was a "radical" Muslim.

Obama's opponents, afraid of his ideas, willingness to work with those across the aisle, and tremendous speaking ability, are doing everything they can to derail his campaign, including calling him a Muslim, and using his middle name to discredit him.

Enough.

So what if he was or even still is Muslim? If anything, his vast experience in both Muslim and Christian religions would make him an even better candidate for president. Who better to use diplomacy when dealing with Islamic nations then someone who understands both sides of the coin? Would you rather have a nice representative of the God Hates Fags Christian Church running for office? Bottom line...not all Muslims are radicals. Learn to understand the difference.Obama is a fine, educated man. He already has my vote no matter how much haters like you try to ruin him.

Instead of worrying about how he was brought up and what his parents did how about judge him on how much experience he has had in public office (not much) and listen to his ideas. then determine if he can lead the country for 4 years and be effective with those ideas. He had no choice when he was born that he was being born into a muslim family. We don't get to choose that.

Listen to what the man has to say and what he has done. Personally I don't think he has the experience or leadership to be a president, but judge that for yourself.

You are forwarding a textbook example of dirty, dirty politics.

The Republicans have put this out there saying that "Hillary's people" dug it up - which is their way of hitting both Democratic candidates in one shot. Obama is not a muslim and the school he went to was NOT as described (google it) and he has been a member of his church since he was a young man. NOT THAT IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO with his ability to lead our country to a better place.

This man is so talented, and supported, and scary to the Old White Boys who are losing their grip on our money, they are willing to stoop to this. It can only get worse.

Don't be part of the propoganda machine that is dividing our country.

Let me ask you a question.
How much control did you have over your religious and educational up bringing?
How much control could Obama have had in what his parents tried to teach him?
Are we supposed to hold it against a person because their parents tried to instill any beliefs into that person?

When he was old enough to decide for himself he turned towards Christianity.
Does he have to denounce Islam and the Muslim religion to appease constituents and the American people?
What's the problem?

Seems that some of it is and some of it isn't. Some is yet to be proven or disproven.
