Do it after a hot shower. It shouldn't hurt at all. If it's hurting that much you're doing it wrong. Use good tweezers also (Tweezerman are best)

There is a very simple answer to this but you may have very sensitive skin. As you pluck more often, you get used to the nipping sensation.
It's a good idea to have cotton wool pad and run it under hot water, squeeze excess water out of it and apply to the brow area for a few seconds, this opens the pores. Then stretch the skin in the area of the hair being removed, stretching away from the direction of hair growth and pluck. Keep applying the hot pad as you move along the brow to ensure pores are open before stretching the skin and plucking. After you have finished plucking, apply a pad with cool water to calm the area and close the pores. Good luck!

Don't use the ice cube trick. That numbs it for about 3 seconds only!

Try a hot towel. Boil some water, or microwave it if you're not one to wait. Put the tip of a wash clothe in the hot water, and apply to your eyebrow before plucking. Hold it there for as long as you can, and then pluck away.

Hot water actually opens up your pores, making the brows sorta fall out instead of having to be pulled. The root of the brow just slides right out!

But cold water (ice) makes your pores close, making it harder to pluck the brows, and your eyebrows will be red and swollen after you pluck!

Wish ya the best in your quest for beauty!

Use Ice Cubes On Your Eyebrows Before Using Your Tweezers

Definately use steam or hot water, apply using cotton balls or paper towels, leave it on there for a while. That way your pores are open and the hairs come out much easier. Don't use ice cubes, it just makes it harder for the hairs to come out, I used to do that but I found its pointless. And don't take a tylenol like someone else mentioned- I doubt that would even work, but besides that, you should never take medicine every single time you need to pluck your eyebrows, that's just ridiculous.

Well rubbing ice on the eyebrows helps. It just numbs the area and when you pluck out the hair, you don't even feel a thing.

hi. i havent tried the ice thing like everyone else but have been using a cloth soaked in hot water and squeezed until its damp but not soaking.. then held against my eyebrow for a few minutes before plucking. it opens the pores and makes it easier to pull the hair out. always pull in the hairs natural direction, never against, as this makes a big difference as to whether it will hurt or not.

hope this helps.

I would advise u to ask your mate to do it for u (if u have a good one), cos then you are not concentrating on plucking too much, try to talk to ur mate about sth interesing as well. And of course I agree that ice helps.
