Dont try to compare PSP through these two giant gaming cosole.
First of all, PSP is a portable gaming console with rich multimedia features inspie of its not so good in earphones music quality.
Lets try to compare things out in XBOX 360 and PS2 excluding the fact-which has sold how many of them.

Okay, First of all,
1.XBOX 360 has better grafix engine than PS2.The console features 512 MiB of 700 megahertz GDDR3 RAM on a 128-bit bus. The memory is shared by the CPU and the GPU via the unified memory architecture. This memory is produced by either Samsung or Qimonda.

2.It can play games supporting upto 1080 dpi while PS2 is set to 480 dpi.

3.The Xbox 360 is equipped with a 12x DVD drive, capable of a maximum read rate of 15.9 MB/s, compared to Playstation 3's 8.6 MB/s.Games are stored on standard dual-layered-DVD-ROMs with 7 GB of usable space available for game content.
While PS2s option is so general-just puSh the PS2 formatted DVD and play games.

4.XBOX 360 supports HD DVD while PS2 supports only PS2 formatted DVD, DVD-R,DVD-RW.

5.xBOX 360 supports XBOX Live and Zune from Microsoft.

So, the overall winner is XBOX 360.

If you want the best graphics and sound quality: Get the Xbox 360.
The PSP is only a portable system with a small screen. Its graphically compareable with the old PS2.

The PS2 is also pretty old. While in-game you will see only standard definition graphics in 480 horizonatal lines. It is true, that the PS2 can do graphics up to 1280x1024 pixels, but normally these are still images and seldom used, as normal TVs only have a vertical resolution of 480 horizontal lines.

The Xbox 360 is a fully HD capeable system, with normal in-game graphics rendered at 720 progressive lines. Some games even go up to full HD resolution of 1080p lines.
Furthermore the Xbox has more and better graphics effects.
The sound from the Xbox 360 is 5.1 surround sound in Dolby Digital.

The PS2 also gets surround sound through movie DVDs and a few games. But not full Dolby Digital 5.1

So, all in all: Of the above mentioned consoles: Get the Xbox 360.

I Would Say in order PS3 Xbox 360 Ps2 PSP Wii PS3 just over all is great controls Animation Games Memory Xbox 360 Just like PS3 But complicated Controls PS2 Just Like PS3 But No hard drive not as godd animation PSP Not that great on animation And a couple other things but overall a good portable system Wii Most Games Horrible and acward controls Animation: satisfactory and memory fine not great That is my personal openean And By the way ps3 is the best because The old Systems games work on it like wii but u don't need a special remote

Personally I think that the Xbox 360 has the best graphics, but it just doesn't have many good games to choose from. I has a PS2 for 2 years and I loved it and all the games, and now its only $130!!! People might think that they will stop making games for it after PS3 came out but the future still holds great titles such as God of War 2 so go for the PS2 and you cant go wrong!!

how the heck are you even gonna compare xbox 360 with ps2 dude, xbox360=next generation with godly graphics and sound effects plus a good quality, robust online play.ps2=very old console, not next gen, and thus a lot weaker, worse games, etc. plus its way way more powerful then the ps2, allowing more possiblities for games for example, in the 360 version of S.C.D.A. there INTERACTIVE cutscenesm, which mean you can interact with would would normally be cutscenes on the xbox or ps2. theres no way a current gen console like the ps2 or xbox or gamecube for that matter would be able to support these interactive cutscenes.

another example is new physics, new much more realistic physics and stuff and theres tons more.


oh and xbox360 has better games then ps2. so does xbox. for example:360da, RB6 vegas, GOW (gears of war) halo 2, halo 3 (coming soon i think) battlestations midway, H:BM, and more.


xbox360 is without a doubt better than ps2, even xbox is w/o a doubt better then ps2 lol.

everyone who says xbox has no good games is an ignorant, biased *******.

xbox and ps2 both have equally good games, but xbox360s games are obviously better since its next gen. only prob (for me at least) is price. if you want the harddrive with it its $500. w/o harddrive its $400 but w/o the hard drive its not BC with xbox games.


and psp i dunno never played one but they look cool. im not much on portable gaming.

The XBox 360 has the best sound and graphics, over the PSP and PS2. So based on that criteria, it's the 360 you want.

Personally I prefer the PS2 and have had one since they first came out. Xbox and Xbox 360 are both nice dont' get me wrong, but gaming wise I prefer PS2 games and prefer the controller of the PS2. PSP is ok if you are driving, in small places or don't need a larger screen. I don't like the PSP and I've played it quite a few hours before I finally gave it to my step-son cause I just don't like it.

Wait for the PS3...............apparently it kicks a$$..............I'll get one if the stores ever keep one long enough for me to buy.

In the end, it will depend on which games you prefer to play and whether or not you like one specific controller over another (and yes, the are totally different).

psp is the best handheld gaming console for sure.so if u travel a lot and like the small screen thats ok.but if your a serious gamer the xbox360 is a wise choice coz its better than the ps2.but if your just a guy who wants to play games then the ps2 is gud .it has over 1000 games to choose from and its pretty cheap now.
