i don't like most of the crap thats shown, the stuff i do like i download to watch so there are no adverts, and best of all, if you don't have a tv then a) you dont have to arrange your day around your fave programmes and b) theres no tv license to pay
i hate how people need their tv when theres nothing decent on half the time

A friend of mine's ex-boyfriend doesn't own a tv and doesn't download either. He is very odd and has zero sense of humour - not sure if those things are related though.
I have Sky Plus so I don't have to watch adverts and watch what I want when I want. Tonight I have the place to myself so am going for a Law & Order marathon.

What do you watch the downloaded programmes on? Your computer?
If you still watch them on your TV, you will need a license.
Having said that, a friend of mine once won an argument with theTV Licencing people however, claiming that he had no aerial and only watched DVDs.
He now pays no licence, and he genuinely watches no TV.

i pay £45. amonth for sky tv and don't watch it! Can't get near it for my kids watching tom and jerry! There's nothing worth watching after they're in bed.

well i hardly ever watch TV - mainly coz our local station is sssoooooo boring and we dont have DSTV - so i hardly ever watch TV.. just DVDs and listening to my music..
