Is there any way to help the people in the poor country to be rich?

1. Trade -- without restrictions on our imports from them, especially of food and basic manufactures.

2. Openness to their immigrants if they have skills we can use and soon find jobs after coming here and learn our language. Immigrants send home remittances, and nothing governments and aid agencies do gets to the ordinary people more effectively.

3. Careful tourism, the kind that respects their environment and culture and lives in small-scale accommodation not big hotels.

4. Stop selling arms to their governments (or opponents), don't invade their countries, and if they start their own wars offer to help make peace but don't take sides.
