I often look at the Military category, and answer an occasional question there. If there is one reason why I could agree with your statement it was this one - "Did Reagan win the Cold War?"
The answers did not make the Americans look like "savages" per se, it made them look quite ignorant instead. Many replied he did, or the American economy did. As always, History written by the "winners" again. I suggested that an event such as the Cold War could not be won by any one individual. There were some answers which were much more intelligent though. I suggested when they learn History, they should read, think, and question.

I go on that section to try and help people regarding the military. The main "clearing house" for all military related topics is I ignore the the BS questions.
