i think that the Godfather's the best. Great performance, by the greatest of all times, Marlon Brando. Great screenplay, and read the book by Mario Puzo, if you haven't already.

Also, Vito Corleone was voted a couple of years ago the most familiar and recognizable character in an American film ever. Y'know, like superman, batman etc. It sounds strange, but that's what the people voted.

There must be 10 or more great quotes from this film too.
I could be talking for hours about this.

See, my thoughts on this change roughly twice a week. But I would think there is a good argument for The Godfather and Goodfellas, also Casablanca and I would probably add Some Like it Hot because its just about perfect.

Scarface and the Godfather were probably two of the best movies ever made but my favourite of all time is Dirty Dancing. (I know its wierd because they are two totally different types of movies)

Shawshank Redemption or Pulp Fiction (both of which missed out on the Best Picture Oscar because of Forrest Gump - gutted)

I have to agree with The American Film Institute... Casablanca. Great writing, great acting, great story. Don't believe me? Go watch it.
