First before anyone brings up the legal argument, impeachment doesn't require illegal activity. Impeachment is based on congressional votes and a method to protect the USA against dictatorship.

Second, the new Democratic congress stated they would not impeach Bush; but, at this pt with Bush ignoring Congress, the American ppl, military leaders, etc... what other choice do we have?

Third, Bush (see Cheney quote below) is going ahead with his war plan regardless of what anyone else says or thinks.

"Vice President Dick Cheney said a Senate vote would not sway the administration. "It won't stop us," Cheney told CNN. "We are moving forward ... in terms of this effort, the president has made his decision.""

Absolutely!

Going to war simply because we want to impose our own religious beliefs on a small Country in my opinion is a crime. Ignoring the outcries of the entire world to stop is a crime. Acting like we are "Cock Of the Walk" towards the World, is a crime. The truth is that the last thing America needed was an incompetent like Bush. I have grown to hate this Country and all that it stands for. I am a gay man and let me tell you something about oppression! These *sshole Republicans are all old fashioned nazi wanna bees and they will always support someone who is simply on thier side even if they know it's wrong.... sort of like a str8 guy in the closet. Republicans are not true Americans after all because America was based on freedom. What does a republican know about freedom?

i'm no longer a supporter of Bush. I even in no way voted for him. yet I help the President of america, whoever he/she perhaps. Bush isn't plenty extra impeachable that previous previous presidents. He did his interest the main suitable he might desire to below the circumstances. In any previous administrations, there have been constantly "violations" of the regulation. throughout his (Bush) watch in spite of the undeniable fact that, there have been no repeat of 9/11. related to different important themes, no different group reported the themes yet in no way got here up with any ideas. i visit be prepared to wager that whoever turns into the subsequent president that no longer everybody are going to be chuffed and can call for his impeachment.

This damn question is asked and answered every day. I have not seen Congress bring about impeachment proceedings. Which means one of two things. One, there are no charges they could file because he has committed no crime. Two, they are just using the war for political posturing. They are more worried about elections and being re-elected than doing what they said they would do before the election. You take your choice!

Past time, but there needs to be investigations into the Iraqi war to find the real reasons for invading them. I think if they follow the money trail it will lead back to some of the highest ranks of the government and in that there should be enough reason to impeach.
I do believe that the president has to be guilty of high crimes or misdemeanors in order to be impeached, I am sure that he is guilty of crimes. I think a bigger issue is he should be on trial in an international court for his crimes against the Iraqi people and his crimes against humanity for the treatment of prisoners, which he not only endorses but also commands.

What, and FURTHER divide this country at a time when ALL our energy should be used towards defeating terrorism!!!

Now that there is more of a balance of power in Washington, both parties should stop the whole power struggle thing and just start working together for the good of this country.

I don't know if Bush should be impeached or not but I am Presuming it will be caused by his stance on foriegn policy.
more specifically Iraq.
In the words, I quote, from a marine with three trips there,
fighting for the same policy,
"If we don't do it here,"THEY WILL FOLLOW US HOME"
Go ahead, Impeach Bush.

I'm with you all the way on this. Clinton made a "mistake" and they were all over that for impeachment. All these "mistakes" later, more dead soldies, and ignoring congress and the American people. I think something should be done.

Only the loud mouth liberal left is being heard right now, the silent majority disagrees with you, you are wrong, President Bush is doing the right thing.

As far as that senate vote, I believe there are other motives behind it beside the good of our country.

Can't you libs come up with new questions? This is old and stale like the asker I guess.
I don't think we should impeach Bush. He has two years left. Come up with some plan instead of living in the past like a typical lib.

Despite the rantings of those on the loony left, there are no grounds for impeachment. And the nitwits who insist that he should be brought to trail before some international tribunal are just America haters and should not be listened to.
