this is what I will like to do but not sure where to start from. Any suggestions of a good R'n'B, hip-hop and soul recording studios in UK or USA. Where to send my finish CD for promotion and perhaps a record deal?

It's always more fun to form a band than do solo stuff with a backing tape and session musicians, and you'll find out quicker if your stuff is commercial or not.
Or why not try the Pop Idol route? At least expenses are paid by them, and again you'd find out quick if it's the right move for you.

the age old and proven route is to get it on the radio and ask as many friends as possible to keep phoning in and requesting it played . studios will contact you if they think you can make them money .
