Yes, very. Before I even knew I was pregnant I remember commenting to an Aunt about how I thought I needed vitamins or something because there was such a drastic decrease in my energy. I was 24 years old and had ALWAYS been EXTREMELY active. I was working full time + overtime, going out with friends, some nights getting only 3-4 hours sleep. I'd get up in the morning, go to and be productive at work, on the weekends constantly on the go. Well, that all abruptly ended when I became pregnant. So, for now, just go with it. Your body's doing what it has to do to shelter your little one, and the fatigue is out of your control. Mine only lasted the first 3-4 months, all pregnancies are different.
So, you are perfectly normal. Good luck and the best of health to you and your "little one to be!"

This is my first pregnancy and during the 1st trimester the longest I slept was 13 hours. I don't work or do anything vigorous, just daily household chores. Now that I'm getting into my 3rd trimester, sleeping has become difficult.

22 hours seems very long but if you are extremely active during the day I can understand it.
