urban legend my friend, alcohol is alcohol and the end result is always the same, no matter how much you payed for it.

if you want to avoid the hangover make sure you drink plenty of water or soft drinks as well, because a lot of it is due to dehydration.

another sure fire way to avoid a hangover is just don't go to sleep.

Alcohol doesn't change with age, just the flavor. Mostly, the headache is from dehydration, a by-product of metabolizing alcohol. Some of the headace is related to substances called congeners, and there may be fewer of them in an expensive drink, but they are still there.

That's a myth. Besides, who ages tequila? Stick to Single Malt Scotch and Single Barrel Bourbon.

It doesn't mean anything, except that you've drunk alcohol. Alcohol is alcohol, and while rough cheap alcohol may well give you a real stinker of a hangover because of impurities, all alcohols are diruetics, and therefore you will dehydrate, and therefore you will have a hangover.

expensive or not, hangovers are caused by drinking too much, not the quality of the alcohol consumed.

uh, you've had too much? or, it wasn't the good stuff. Alcohol volume is volume. The good stuff just doesn't have the other stuff that makes the cheap hooch taste bad.
