You need to install one firewall.

CA (Computer Associates) makes a anti virus program that beats Norton all the way. It has an anti virus, firewall, anti span, anti spy ware programs, and it never interferes with the rest of the computer like Norton does. It costs about $50 and is well worth it.

CA updates itself automatically. It is fast and accurate.

It also has another program with it. It is call K9. It helps you set limits of the pages of Internet you want to see. It is password protected so you can change it at your will.

I had Norton Internet security for a couple of years!

Get a better form of Internet Security ; Norton, didn't save my computer, from a rather nasty virus, that destroyed my hard drive.
I'm keeping my new computer (presently using) safe, by NOT using Norton Internet Security and using avast instead.

Norton is a good service. I use McAfee because I initially got the service for free.

I had norton but my pc repair person reccomended against it come renewal time.

There is nothing for nothing and you get what you pay for. I currently use bullguard which (fingers crossed) has protected my pc excellently.

If you totally delete your entire hard drive, then reinstall norton, your computer will think it is installing it for the first time and you will get a new years subscription for free!!!! what a steal! of course you will lose all of your data, but whatever.
