cause when you put them into a computer they are wave files. doesn't that mean that it's analog?

They're digital. WAV format is part of digital media. A record would be analog.

Cd's are all digital. Music is put into digital format by sampling the sounds 44,100 times per second (sampling for Cd's). You can see the difference been a digital wave and an analog wave if you zoom into the waveform extremely far. A digital waveform will show perfect 90 degree angles at it's peaks and troughs. An analog waveform will show linear curves at it's peaks and troughs.

any file written on CDs are all in digital format. digital means series of 1's and 0's. computers cannot read analog media since computers are digital. it only reads digits.

wave files doesnt mean they are in wavy signals..... so wave files are not analog.
