I think is true, because if u put the memphis grizzilies in the East the would have a chance, there are some good teams that deserve to go to the playoffs but can't beacsue of the strong teams like the spurs, mavs and rockets (all from texas)

I've actually thought about this before, too. They should both merge because you will probably have several losing teams in the East make the playoffs, while you will likely have a few teams in the West with winning records NOT make the playoffs. Something has to be done, and I think merging would solve that situation.~

No. When Jordan was playing everyone said the east had it locked. It's a phase. It happens in waves sometimes it's the east, sometimes it's the west.
Besides there is NO major pro sport that doesn't split teams into divisions. The divisions bring more drama into the last month of the season. The more teams with a chance at the playoffs, the more fans still interested.
"The NBA has been taken over by a bunch of black thugs." - But you would be OK with white thugs? We get it you hate basketball, go watch something more your speed. Figure skating, baseball, you know something a little more white

East- Heat Celtics Magic Hawks Bulls Drops off from there. Bucks, Knicks.....etc West- Lakers Mavs Suns Jazz Thunder Spurs Blazers Rockets Nuggets Hornets, Clippers, Grizzlies... Warriors and Kings should be much improved. The only bad team in the West is the Timberwolves.

this method has worked for a long time. Wait a few years, the teams will be all different anyway.

I don't really care about the NBA anymore and I used to be a big participant. The NBA has been taken over by a bunch of black thugs.
